You can download the trial version of Lucene4DB.Net. This version supports most of the features available in professional and enterprise version. The only difference is that you can not index more than 1000 records with this community edition. If you decide to buy the professional or enterprise version after evaluating the community version, you will have to uninstall this community version before installing the retail version of the product.
