This article describes how the Microsoft Passport Network is used together with Xbox Live for Xbox 360.

The Passport Network is a service that lets you use credentials to sign in to most Microsoft sites and services. You can also use your Passport Network credentials to sign in to certain Microsoft partner sites and services. Passport Network credentials are the e-mail address and the password that you use to sign in to the Passport Network.
